After spending so many years sewing plush, I started to branch off into making the occasional clothing costume piece for characters I wanted to cosplay. Clothing still isn't my forte, but I did find my skills transferred much better over to working with foam and faux fur.

I've been having a blast designing characters with the idea of eventually building them into a fursuit/mascot style costume. The purple and gold jumping spider, Wick, was a design that came into being originally for the sole purpose of being a costume. My clown monster Patches, also gained a character design while I tried to create a monster that had many of the features I saw in costumes at a local event that I adored and wanted to make for myself.
